Got it ....can't seem to do it with my camera though!
I was surprised a couple weeks ago, was back in some dense shade, people walking out on the fringe of the shade, bright sunlight past it, my photos of people and trees - silhowettes. now a real photographer may know how to do it on purpose - but they were okay.gonna also look up the definitions.... sometimes that inspires me to go a different direction.word verf.... ZONSA (outside the zone??)
sorry for my early morning typing thats silhouettes!
I'm not a professional, nor do I play one on tv, but just shoot into the sun or at dawn/dusk without a flash. I got a great silhouette shot of a lone weather beaten tree on the beach yesterday by shooting into the sun. Try it!I'm excited to see what everyone comes up with :)
I love a challenge!
I did a challenge with Sunday stills, had fun doing it.
I was stumped too. I found this website to be VERY helpful: http://www.illustratedphotography.com/photography-tips/camera-technique/silhouette-tipsAlso, here are some good examples that inspired me: http://digital-photography-school.com/12-super-silhouette-shotsnow...if I can just find the time to play around with it.
Ellisa these are great sites, I saw a painting at the hippy square on Sunday and thought - hey I can do that with my camera. I have ten.... think that is enough.
Not sure if I can do this one :0(
Thanks to Ellisa for the links. Very helpful for me.
